53 people trapped in Kastamonu and Sinop, where the flood disaster took place, were rescued by 3 helicopters and land crews of the Coast Guard Command.

Sinop, Bartın and Kastamonu were flooded. Many houses were flooded and vehicles were damaged. Many people were trapped in their homes.

The evacuation of our citizens, who were stranded as a result of the flood disaster in the Ayancık district of Sinop province, to safe areas by the Coast Guard Helicopters continues.

The Coast Guard Command announced that 3 Coast Guard helicopters and land rescue teams were deployed in order to transfer the citizens who were stranded as a result of the flood disaster in Sinop, Kastamonu and Bartın to safe areas.

In the statement, it was emphasized that the evacuation of a total of 46 citizens, 7 in Sinop's Ayancık district and 53 in Kastamonu's İnebolu district by land crews, was safely carried out by the commissioned Coast Guard helicopters, and evacuation activities in the region continued.
