Ziya Altunyaldız, Chairman of the Parliamentary Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission, gave the good news that ASELSAN Konya has started production and that there will be over 800 employees, 400 of whom are engineers and 1200 technicians.
Altunyaldız's explanation; “ASELSAN Konya was extremely valuable in terms of real growth in the defense industry, technology transfer and spreading this development to other sectors. ASELSAN Konya was completed very quickly and was commissioned last year. It has now started production and employment with different projects. Employment is increasing day by day. Hopefully, there will be over 800 employees, 1200 of which are engineers. This work will be shared with other defense industry companies at the procurement point. It will ensure their expansion globally. These studies in Konya revealed that our city is in the top 3 in Turkey in the defense industry.”
When Will Applications Begin?
