Two wagons of the work train carrying pebbles derailed in the Şarkışla district of Sivas. As a result of the accident, the railway was closed to traffic for a while. As a result of the short-term work of the teams, the railway was reopened.
While the pebble-laden train going from Sivas to Kayseri was maneuvering at the level crossing in Sağır Mahallesi, 5 kilometers from the district, at noon, two of its wagons derailed. After the incident, Sivas-Kayseri railway line and Şarkışla-Sagir Mahallesi road were closed to traffic. TCDD teams, who came to the accident site upon the notice, put the wagons back on the rail with their work. The railway, which was closed for a while, and the road to Sağır Mahallesi, were reopened by the teams.
