IMM is going to a new traffic regulation in the region in order to reduce the traffic density in the direction of Bakırköy İncirli Street and Bakırköy Square. Within the scope of the application, which will start on Sunday, August 22, traffic will be provided in one way on some streets and streets.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) is implementing the "Bakırköy İncirli Street, Zuhuratbaba Street, Şükran Çiftliği Street and Surrounding Geometric Arrangement and Traffic Circulation Project" in order to ensure a healthier vehicle and pedestrian traffic circulation in Bakırköy.
The application, prepared in coordination with the district municipality, will start on Sunday, August 22. With the project, it is aimed to reduce the traffic density of İncirli Street in the direction of Bakırköy Square, to improve vehicle and pedestrian traffic circulation, and thus to ensure integration with Bakırköy Freedom Square Project.
B in scope; The section of İncirli Street between Bakırköy Square and Dikilitaş Junction (Yüce Tarla Street intersection) will be open to traffic in one direction from Bakırköy Square to İncirli Junction.
Yüce Tarla Caddesi will be operated in one direction from Dikilitaş Junction to Bakırköy direction. Zuhuratbaba Street; The section between Akmescit Street and İncirli Street will run in one direction (reversed) in the direction of İncirli Street. Akmescit Street; In the section between Şükran Çiftliği Street and Zuhuratbaba Street, traffic will flow in both directions.
Signaling was arranged at the minibus and bus stops in the project area. Traffic directions and pedestrian crossing arrangements were also made on the streets connected to İncirli Street, Yüce Tarla Street and Zuhuratbaba Street.
