SunExpress, a joint venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, announced that it has carried a total of over 2021 million passengers in 3 so far. The airline recorded a 43% increase in passenger traffic compared to the same period last year.
Supporting Turkish tourism by offering frequency increase to Turkey's holiday routes, as well as adding new destinations to its flight network after the removal of travel restrictions, SunExpress reached an occupancy rate of 85%.
SunExpress, the airline that brings the most tourists to the Mediterranean and Aegean Regions with scheduled flights, has implemented various applications and services such as the Corona Guarantee Package, the middle seat reservation facility and SunFlex to provide its passengers with maximum flexibility in their travel planning, especially during the pandemic period, to offer a more comfortable and peaceful travel experience.
Simultaneously with the 'Safe Tourism Program' implemented in Turkey, SunExpress undersigned many projects in cooperation with authorities and tourism professionals in order to show local and foreign tourists that Turkey is one of the safest destinations for holidays.
