Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ) will exhibit Turkey's national survival project, the National Combat Aircraft, for the first time at IDEF. The HÜRJET Simulator will also take place at its stand, where TAI will also exhibit original air platforms and space system projects developed with a high locality rate.

TAI will take place with its survival projects at Turkey's largest defense fair, which will be held in Istanbul on 17-20 August 2021. TAI; ANKA, AKSUNGUR, ATAK, ATAK 2, GÖKBEY, HÜRKUŞ, HÜRJET and Turkey's survival project, the 5th generation main combat aircraft, will exhibit the National Combat Aircraft. TUSAŞ will thus reveal the contribution it has made to the establishment of an independent defense industry in the field of aviation and space, and the important stage it has reached, with the original projects it has realized. In addition to all air platforms, TUSAŞ will provide its visitors with a realistic flight experience with the HÜRJET Simulator, and will also carry satellite projects, which have an important place in Turkey's national space program and developed with domestic facilities, to IDEF.

TAI General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil said the following about IDEF: “Since December 19, when COVID-2019 occurred, our world has been witnessing a different period in which measures are felt in all areas, from daily life to combat conditions. When we look at our sector specifically, we live in a period in which production and designs in the field of aviation and space continue without slowing down significantly. In this context, our company continues to contribute to the world aviation ecosystem with the unique platforms it has developed based on its R&D activities. IDEF is an important platform where these developments are shared and the pride projects of our country are introduced to the world public. Considering the pandemic conditions, we are excited to participate in such a large fair for the first time. We will exhibit the National Combat Aircraft, the biggest survival project of our country, at IDEF for the first time. We will take the MMU, which is followed by the world public opinion, out of the hangar on March 18, 2023. ATAK 2 and HÜRJET will make their first flights on March 18, 2023. We look forward to sharing this excitement with our visitors who will attend IDEF.” said.
