Metropolitan mobilized in Antalya and Muğla
While a great struggle is being waged against forest fires all over Turkey, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality is supporting this struggle by sending both extinguishing teams and humanitarian aid materials. Providing logistical support for the extinguishing of fires in Antalya Manavgat, Muğla Marmaris, Bodrum and Milas, the Metropolitan Municipality has dispatched 6 fire sprinklers, 3 fire service and logistic support vehicles, 25 water tankers and 41 personnel to these regions. The teams continue their work to respond to the fires in the Antalya and Muğla regions. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality also sent aid materials to the region for the citizens who were victims of the fires in Muğla. A convoy of 5 vehicles consisting of white goods and hygiene materials reached the region. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality made preparations to send aid materials to Manavgat.
A helping hand to Adana
In the previous days, 7 vehicles, which contain many necessities from white goods to detergents for the citizens who were damaged by the fire in Kozan and Aladağ districts of Adana, went from İzmir to Adana with 14 personnel. Refrigerators, washing machines, stovetops, carpets, pillows, blankets, portable beds, tea, sugar, towel paper-toilet paper, disposable face towels, cardboard cups, wet wipes, flashlights, batteries are among the aid materials that went to Adana. , liquid soap, shampoo, dishwashing and laundry detergent.
