The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that within the scope of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge construction, a 1 kilometer long and 3 meter high environmental sound barrier was built on the connection road so that the residents of the area in the Yülüce Village locality would not be disturbed by the noise of the vehicles.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that within the scope of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge construction, which is under construction between Çanakkale's Lapseki and Gelibolu districts, an environmental sound barrier was installed on the connection road in Yülüce Village. The Ministry stated that the teams worked intensively on the route of the Kınalı, Tekirdağ, Çanakkale and Savaştepe Highway Project between Malkara and Çanakkale, including the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, and noted that 100 percent environmentalist investments were selected for environmental protection activities in the bridge project. In this context, the Ministry informed that a 900-meter-long and 3-meter-high barrier was installed in the section passing through the Yülüce Village location, which is the closest settlement on the route of the bridge, so that the residents of the area are not disturbed by the noise of the vehicles.

Reminding that the foundation of the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which will connect the European and Asian continents for the first time in the Dardanelles, was laid on March 18, 2017, the Ministry pointed out that after 4,5 years, the road to the bridge is visible. The statement made by the Ministry included the following information about the bridge:

“It will symbolize the 18 March Çanakkale Naval Victory.
