Halıcı Group CEO and Society 5.0 Academy President Dr. Hüseyin Halıcı attended the “ZIRVETOR'21” event organized by the Toros University Industrial Engineering and Efficiency Community, and gave information about digital transformation in industry, Industry 4.0, digital transformation outside the industry and Society 5.0, and answered students' questions.

artificial intelligence; describing it as a system, machine or robot behaving in a human-like structure, Dr. Halıcı stated that the concept's first appearance dates back to the 1950s, but it came to the fore with digital transformation or Industry 4.0, thanks to the human-free structure.
Stating that artificial intelligence will enter every field from automotive to art, from the media to the medical sector, Dr. Halıcı said that the biggest goal of humanity in the future will be to establish a world where it only comes to live.
Dr. Pointing out the importance of realizing everything independently of humans in such a world, Halıcı emphasized that artificial intelligence will play the most important role and will replace the work done by humans, not humans.

Noting that artificial intelligence should be feared, not the people who abuse it, Dr. Halıcı said, “Artificial intelligence is like a child. How we train it, that's how it grows." said.
Explaining that he emphasizes the mind rather than intelligence, and that "reason is the use of intelligence for the benefit of humanity," Dr. Halıcı continued his words as follows:
“We all use software, there are malicious viruses here. These do not occur spontaneously, there are people who write them. The people who wrote those viruses are perhaps even smarter than the people who wrote the systems damaged by the viruses. However, they only do this for the purpose of harming and committing crimes. Why is that? Because they use their minds not for the benefit of humanity, but to the detriment of it. That's why we should not forget; We are smart as long as we use our intelligence for the benefit of humanity.”

We need to design a system with digital transformation-human cooperation. The concept of Society 5.0 also tells us that this business should not be unmanned.” he ended his speech.
