The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that the Ukrainian Navy received the first Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle. The Ukrainian Defense Express body announced the development with the statement that “our fleet now has the means to monitor the position of Neptune on the surface and guided missiles”.
"The first Bayraktar TB2 unmanned attack complex for the navy has been delivered to Ukraine," said Ukrainian Defense Minister Andriy Taran. The statement was shared on the official social media account of the ministry.
The statement that the Bayraktar TB2 will be used by the Ukrainian Navy was first voiced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
He told Ukrainian Naval Forces Commander Alexei Neizhpapa that they would receive the Bayraktar TB2021 SİHA together with the first Neptune coastal-based anti-ship missile battery in 2.
