The bag bill, which includes the decision to provide 75 lira support to the workers working with the minimum wage, was passed by the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and was accepted.

In order to protect and increase employment by reducing labor costs, the minimum wage support provided from 2016 to the end of 2020 will continue. Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security; He announced that in 2021, in order to reduce labor costs in order to support employment, regardless of the sector, a minimum wage support of 2,50 lira per day and 75 lira per month will be provided by deducting from the insurance premium to be paid for employees, and the financing of the said support will be covered by the Unemployment Insurance Fund.

A total of 1,4 billion lira support will be provided to 6,2 million businesses. It is predicted that 9,3 million insured will benefit from the support. There is no need to apply for support that will cover all workplaces.
