After the fires all over Turkey, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality took action to heal the wounds. Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that they started the “Be a Breath to Turkey” campaign with his social media accounts. Providing information about the campaign, Yavaş said, “We will support saplings in fire areas so that our forests will grow and give life to our souls. We will bring your support together with the municipalities in the fire areas. Come, every support you give will give hope to the future and a breath of solidarity.”

Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that they had launched a new campaign called "Breath to Turkey" through the ongoing 'Green Capital' project and called on citizens to support fire zones.

Providing information about the campaign with a post on his social media accounts, Yavaş said, “We will donate saplings to fire areas so that our forests will sprout and give life to our souls. We will bring your support together with the municipalities in the fire areas. Let every support you give give hope to the future and a breath of solidarity. We are cultivating solidarity from the Capital of Green. We will bandage our wounds with solidarity for our forests, which were destroyed by fires all over our country.
Citizens will be able to contribute to the reforestation of forests damaged by fire by donating seedlings with their credit cards through the website "yesilinbaskenti.com" launched by the Metropolitan Municipality. In the campaign, in which the number of trees to be donated is also offered, citizens can use the "Breathe to Our Forests Damaged by Fire" button;

They will be able to donate 100-200 cm tall larch, spruce, oak, cedar and cypress trees to be planted in their regions.
