President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the landing ship Ç.1974, which was turned into a museum by being connected alive to the Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar and the accompanying TAF Command Level at Yavuz Landing Beach.
Hulusi Akar, Minister of National Defense, said the following at the opening of the landing ship Ç.1974 as a museum:
“We commemorate all our martyrs, especially our teacher, Colonel İbrahim Karaoğlanoğlu, and all our martyrs with respect and mercy, and we express our gratitude and respect to them. We have veterans who participated in the operation, and we wish them health and well-being. It is of great importance that the operation carried out and the suffering suffered are known to the youth. We try to pass them on to young people in various ways. C. The fact that 1974 became a museum is also of great importance in terms of telling our young people what has been filmed so far. “
