Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Sports Schools, which has been suspended for about 1,5 years due to the pandemic, opens its doors on July 12. With the opening of Pool İzmir, Marina İzmir and İnciraltı Beach Volleyball Field, the number of facilities increased to 10 and the number of branches to 25. It is aimed that 40 children will receive education this year.

Registrations for sports schools in 25 different branches in ten different centers started as of 1 July. At the first stage, until July 5, the registration process of those whose education was interrupted last year will be carried out, and the applications of new students will be received immediately after. Training will begin on July 12 after registration ends.
Sports schools where 30 thousand people are trained every year, basketball, capoeira, football, gymnastics, taekwondo, judo, tennis, athletics, chess, folk dances, canoe, step-aerobics, zumba, healthy life, pilates, basic movement training, swimming. , underwater rugby, water polo, volleyball, table tennis, wrestling, badmindon, intelligence games, beach volleyball and futsal branches.
