Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality said that every child has the right to play, learn and have fun, and brought joy to the streets with the “Play to Play” project.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has added a new one to its activities for children who are away from schools and streets during the pandemic period.
Children who stay away from their friends and playgrounds reach the demonstration area by wandering the streets with a cortege formed by a traveling company coming to their neighborhoods in the activities titled “Play and Play”. In the project, which aims to provide a fun time for all neighborhood residents, from 7 to 70, as well as children, shows such as circus arts, dance, and ground acrobatics are exhibited in a theatrical concept.
The activities carried out by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Culture Department, primarily in areas far from the demonstration areas of Istanbul; It will reach children and their families in 4 neighborhoods in 220 different districts two days a week.
Neighborhood carnivals, aiming to make the people of Istanbul laugh and cheer up, started on the Anatolian side on 10-11 July and will continue on both sides of the city on 12-14, 17-18, 26-28 and 30-31 July.
