Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its digitalization move. ESHOT General Directorate's transportation times and route information can now be seen in the public transportation tab of Google Maps.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality İZDENİZ added the transportation hours of the ESHOT General Directorate to Google Maps after the İZBAN data in partnership with the metro and tram and TCDD. ESHOT, which has completed its compliance process with Google, will now be among the transportation options of passengers using Google Maps. Passengers who prefer land transportation in Izmir will be able to obtain the fastest transportation data from one point to another without wasting time thanks to the application. Thus, those who use Google Maps will now be able to query directions with public transportation throughout Izmir.
How to use it?
For example in Izmir KarşıyakaA person who wants to go to Adnan Menderes Airport from Istanbul, after selecting the public transportation option on Google Maps. Karşıyaka He will click on his Jetty. The screen showing the voyage times and route information will be opened. The data showing that it is possible to reach the same destination in approximately one and a half hours by car and 50 minutes by ferry and rail system will be reflected on the screen.
