Sivas Provincial Directorate of National Education, Sivas Governorship and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. In cooperation with the General Directorate of High School students, the "Journey to Ancient History in the Shadow of Books" event was organized. During the trip with RAYBÜS, the book-loving young people were accompanied by Sivas Governor Salih Ayhan, Provincial National Education Deputy Director Dursun Yıldırım and railroad officials.

A trip to Ancient History in the Shadow of Books was organized for high school students who have high academic achievement and are passionate about reading in Sivas. Under the auspices of Sivas Governorship and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. In the event, which was held with the support of the Provincial Directorate of National Education, the students traveled to Divriği by raybus. The book-loving students were accompanied by Sivas Governor Salih Ayhan and Provincial Deputy Director of National Education Dursun Yıldırım. During the journey, which took approximately 2 hours and 45 hours, Muzaffer Sarısözen Fine Arts High School students performed a mini music concert. During the journey, the students shared information with each other by reading the books determined for the "Yunus Emre and Turkish Year".

Within the scope of the “Journey to Ancient History in the Shadow of Books” Activities, 3 More Expeditions will be organized for the students.

Within the scope of the Divrigi trip, the students first visited the Glass Observation Terrace, which added attraction to the district. Governor Ayhan, accompanying the students here, said, “We introduce our districts to our students by organizing cultural trips.” said. Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to get to know the Divriği Great Mosque and Hüma Hatun Street, as well as the historical and touristic places of Divriği. Within the scope of the program, Cumhuriyet University Turkish Language and Literature Department Lecturer Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Akkaya also met with the students and read poems from Yunus Emre to the students on the occasion of the “Yunus Emre and Turkish Year” and evaluated the book called “Come, Let's Meet”.

Under the auspices of Sivas Governorship and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. With the support of the General Directorate, the Provincial Directorate of National Education will organize 3 more trips for students as part of the "Journey to Ancient History in the Shadow of Books" activities.

Due to the 19nd anniversary of the Sivas Congress, 102 students and 102 teachers attend each time, paying attention to the Covid-18 measures.
