Within the scope of Marché du Film, the newest and under-development projects of Turkish cinema in the genres of feature films, short films and documentaries were introduced at the Turkey stand, which was organized this year in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) and the Boğaziçi Culture and Arts Foundation. films will be released internationally.
Co-production and project opportunities, which have become very important in the cinema sector due to reasons such as information and technology transfer, access to local funding sources, creation of potential markets and development of promotional activities, will also be discussed at the festival.
Also at the Cannes Film Festival, the "Foreign Film Production Support", which came into force with the new cinema law, allowing foreign film producers to be refunded up to 30 percent of the amount they spent in Turkey for feature films, documentaries and television series, will be presented to international filmmakers.
With the support, it is predicted that Turkey, which has a natural plateau feature, will increase its competitive power in this field and become one of the important film shooting centers.

This year, 20 films will compete in the “Un Certain Regard” selection, one of the most prestigious sections of the festival.
British director and screenwriter Andrea Arnold assumed the presidency of the jury of the selection; The jury will include director and producer Mounia Meddour, actress Elsa Zylberstein, director, producer and screenwriter Daniel Burman, and director, producer and actor Michael Covino.
Another successful director to represent Turkey will be Tayfun Pirselimoğlu, who will take part in the film development department of Cinefondation L'Atelier with his new project Idea.
24 Films in the Main Competition
American director Spike Lee is the head of the jury for the main competition of the festival, which will be held for the first time between July 6 and 17 during the global epidemic.
