TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta, which was held as a Bosphorus sailing race only in Istanbul in 19 due to the Covid-2020 epidemic; It is returning to its classical route, Bursa, in order to develop sailing in Bursa and to bring together Istanbul and Bursa sailors.
Organized by the Turkish Offshore Racing Club under the main sponsorship of Eker Dairy, in cooperation with Bursa Sailing Club and Moda Sea Club, this important race will be held on 2021-20-21 August in 22.
The stage program of TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta, which will also be organized in three stages, will be as follows:
- Friday, August 20, 2021: Fashion – Tirilye
- Saturday, August 21, 2021: Tirilye Bay Races
- Sunday, August 22, 2021: Tirilye – Istanbul
Boats that feel the best wind will reach the top
At the TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta, which makes a difference with the sailors experiencing four seasons on the boat, dozens of teams will try to feel the wind in the best way to reach the summit.
The classification of the teams that will participate in the race, which allows the sailors to fight against the natural conditions thanks to their skills and intelligence, will again be IRC 0, IRC I, IRC II, IRC III, IRC IV and Gezi. Eker, the main sponsor of the organization, will add color and excitement to the race with two different sailing teams, “Eker Legend Ladies” and “Eker 40”.
