Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Martyr Temel Boxwood Ship, which Mehmet Hilmi Güler brought in the city with the aim of integrating Ordu with the sea, started tours in the new season.
Martyr Temel Boxwood Ship, which has been the focus of attention of the citizens since the day it merged with the sea, is getting active again with the summer season. The ship, which has been made ready for the service of citizens after the necessary maintenance and repair, will host its guests with tours to be organized as of July 1, 2021 in Altınordu district.
FIRST TOURS BEGIN IN ALTINORDU
Martyr Temel Boxwood Ship, which will cruise along the Altınordu coast, will organize its first tour at 1 on Thursday, July 2021, 16.00, and its second tour at 18.00. Weekday tours will also be held at these times. Weekend hours will be announced by the Metropolitan Municipality in the near future.
PRICE SCHEDULE IS DETERMINED
A fee schedule has also been determined for those who want to watch Ordu from the sea by ship. According to this, while civilian citizens are 15 TL, students are 10 TL, martyrs' relatives and veterans are 10 TL, 0-6 age groups can benefit from free service.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
All of the main and auxiliary machinery on the ship, which was maintained and repaired by the Metropolitan Municipality to provide better service to the citizens, were overhauled and all the parts that needed to be changed were replaced. All necessary electrical maintenance and repairs were made. While rasping and painting works were carried out on the ship's deck and side, visibly worn places were replaced.
