Despite its compact exterior dimensions, Mercedes-Benz's new light commercial vehicle offers versatile usage features, especially in distribution and service areas, with its large interior and loading area. The wide-opening right and left sliding doors as well as the low loading sill facilitate access to the interior as well as loading and unloading of vehicles.
In the new Citan Tourer version, passengers are pampered with a cozy and comfortable living space. In addition to its highly variable and functional structure, the vehicle also offers high-level safety features and superior driving comfort.

Safety is a fundamental and primary value for Mercedes-Benz. The balanced body with energy-absorbing and energy-dissipating beams, up to seven airbags as standard, and comprehensive equipment with modern driving support systems help ensure this safety. In addition, assist systems can support or comfort the driver in many driving scenarios.
Security is not provided only with these systems. Like the Sprinter or the Mercedes-Benz passenger car product family, the New Citan can be optionally equipped with the intuitive and adaptive infotainment system MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience).

With the standard middle airbag offered in the Citan Tourer, which can be deployed between the driver and front passenger seats in the event of a serious side collision, the New Citan is also assertive in safety systems. Different versions of MBUX are optionally available in the new Citan. The system stands out with features such as intuitive operation via the seven-inch touchscreen or the touch control buttons on the steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity and hands-free operation via digital radio (DAB and DAB +).
