The world-famous beaches of Balikesir's Ayvalık district are taking firm steps towards becoming a brand with the blue flag. The “2021 National Flag Ceremony” will be held in Ayvalık this year.
Among the businesses and affiliates of Ayvalık Municipality; A blue flag will be hoisted on the beaches of Cunda Arka Deniz, Altınova Sand Island, Paşa Harbour, Kapri and Duba.
Blue hosted by Ayvalık Municipality bayraklı “The best environmental awareness awards and thank you plaques will also be given, and a blue flag will be hoisted at the ceremony, which will be held at the Paşa Port facilities.
Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin stated that they had the honor of receiving blue flags for all five beaches in the municipality at the ceremony to be held on Tuesday, July 6, and said, “More than one place in our district can receive blue flags, and Ayvalık is the district with the most blue flags in Balıkesir. We are very lucky in this regard, but our responsibilities increase even more.”
