İncek Supreme Court Junction will be put into service on 25 August

Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Our aim is to ease the traffic flow in the region and to give our drivers a breather with the Incek Supreme Court Junction, which we have designed considering the New Supreme Court building and its entrance and exit, on Martyr Savcı Mehmet Kiraz Boulevard, one of the busiest transition areas of Ankara city traffic. The infrastructure and superstructure works that have been going on since April 1, 2021 have now come to an end. We plan to complete our project as of August 25 and put it at the service of our citizens.”

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu examined the ongoing works at the İncek Supreme Court Junction in Ankara. Minister Karaismailoğlu, who received a briefing from the authorities about the intersection, examined the work site and toured the new Supreme Court building, which is under construction, with the President of the Court of Cassation Mehmet Akarca.

Stating that the Supreme Court Junction is one of the busiest transit areas of Ankara city traffic, Karaismailoğlu said, “We are talking about a route used by an average of 47 thousand vehicles per day. With the start of its activities in the new campus of the Court of Cassation, this intensity will undoubtedly increase. For this reason, by arranging the density with the intersection we designed considering the New Supreme Court building and its entrance and exit; We will ensure that the traffic is uninterrupted, safe and fluent. The infrastructure and superstructure works that have been going on since April 1, 2021 have now come to an end.”

Reminding that the Supreme Court Junction was built on Martyr Savcı Mehmet Kiraz Boulevard, one of the busiest transit areas of Ankara city traffic, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “Our aim with the Supreme Court Junction is to ease the traffic flow in the region and to give a breath of fresh air to our drivers using this area. It is planned to start serving in the new campus of the Court of Cassation in September, which is the beginning of the new judicial year. Here, too, our goal is to complete our construction work by August 25. In this direction, our activities continue on a 7/24 basis.”

Pointing out that with the commissioning of the Supreme Court Junction, the citizens living in the region are aimed not to be affected by the traffic density that the Supreme Court will increase, Minister Karaismailoğlu said, “By maximizing road safety, we will prevent possible accidents that may occur at this point where traffic is heavy. We will establish a safer and uninterrupted transportation opportunity. We are making the infrastructure we have established so far with added value and modernity with the projects we have carried out with the focus of digitalization, mobility and logistics in freight and human transportation.”

Minister Karaismialoğlu also used the following statements while giving the following information about the Ankara-Bala Split-İncek Connection Road Bridge Interchange construction work:

“The length of our Ankara-Bala Junction-Incek Connection Road Bridge Interchange Project is 1,5 kilometers. Intersection; It is 151 meters long, 500 meters of which is closed section. This year, the 2×2 service road became active. The production of bored piles and head beams with a total number of 666 and a total length of 10 thousand 538 meters were also completed. The production phase of 123 prefabricated beams has been completed. Currently, the retaining wall, excavation and displacement works continue without any problems.”
