CHP Trabzon Deputy Ahmet Kaya reminded TCDD General Director Ali İhsan Uygun that there is no railway in Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Giresun, Gümüşhane and Ordu during the Public Economic Commission meetings where the State Railways were discussed and said, “President Karadenizli, Transport Minister Trabzonlu, TCDD General Manager and Deputy General Manager Ordulu. NO RAILWAYS TO TRABZON UNTIL 2029
“There is a 2002 Turkish railway map in the budget presentation booklet of the Ministry of Transport. There is no 1 meter railway in any of these provinces from Samsun to the Sarp Border. We are coming to 2020. Eighteen years pass. In eighteen years, a 1 meter railway has not been laid in this region. We are coming to 2023. There is no indication that 2023 meter of rail will be laid by 1. These are the Ministry of Transport information and we are coming to 2029. Fortunately, a line from Erzincan to Trabzon and Rize appears in 2029. However, this line, which appears in 2029, appears as "the line in the project preparation phase" according to the State Railways map of the Ministry of Transport. In other words, there is no railway that ends or starts operating even in 2029. Mr. President said it will start in 2023, Mr. Binali said it will end in 2023. Everyone says something else. The people of the Eastern Black Sea Region are being deceived. We do not accept this.”

Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, Giresun, Ordu are not Anatolian? If you covered Anatolia with iron nets, why are there no 1 meter railways in these provinces?
HERE ARE THE RAILWAY PROMISES OF THE POWER
“The President of the period, Abdullah Gul, said in 2010: 'The railway to Trabzon is Turkey's need.' The Minister of Environment and Urbanization at that time said similar things again in 2013. In 2015, Tayyip Bey is the Prime Minister and says: 'The Erzincan-Trabzon railway will pass through Gümüşhane. Tayyip Bey himself says in his statement in Trabzon that the study projects were completed in 2015. Minister Süleyman Soylu says in 2015, 'The route has been determined, the survey has been completed, the project is starting'. Mr. Binali Yıldırım said, “The Erzincan-Trabzon railway is the testament of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. His will was forgotten by the party that came after him. Now, we will build the Trabzon-Erzincan railway until 2023,' he says. Binali Bey himself says that they will build the Trabzon-Erzincan railway in 2016, 5 years ago, in 2023. Then, in 2017, President Erdoğan once again says, 'The tender for the Trabzon-Erzincan railway project will be held this year'. At the AKP Trabzon provincial congress in February 2021, Mr. President said, 'We are completing the route studies of our Trabzon-Erzincan high-speed train project, then we start the construction'. To those who say, to those who promise, but there is nothing in the middle. Let's make this railway dream come true this semester. Enough is enough, we can no longer afford to wait, linger, empty words.”
