Expressing that the construction works continue without slowing down, Keskin said, “Rize-Artvin Airport is an exemplary project not only for our country but also for the world aviation industry. The airport, where the works have progressed rapidly from the initial stage until today, will add great value to the region. It will increase the brand value of our region and make a great contribution to tourism.” he said.
The foundation of the airport, which will serve the Eastern Black Sea region between the provinces of Rize and Artvin, was laid by our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on April 3, 2017.
In the Rize-Artvin Airport project, the infrastructure and superstructure construction, including the terminal building, runway and aprons, continues rapidly. Efforts are continuing intensively for the airport to be put into service within the planned time.
