The "Municipalism Award" given within the scope of SUMMITS International AUS Summit's Way of Mind in Transportation Awards was presented to the "Public Transport Line Management System" project of Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
Hasan Görgülü, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department Head, received the award at the award ceremony held within the scope of the 8th International Istanbul Smart Grids and Cities Congress and Fair held in Istanbul.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality was deemed worthy of the same award as Konya Traffic Assistant at the AUS Summit.
MASS TRANSPORT LINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Line Management System, which is an innovative public transportation decision support system using big data and artificial intelligence technologies, is implemented as a system that will improve the service received by citizens in public transportation and ensure that investments to be made in public transportation meet the needs of citizens.
The aim of the system implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality for the first time in Turkey; To determine public transportation demands and behaviors based on data, to make improvements for these demands, to use resources more efficiently in public transportation, to increase service level and satisfaction, to increase the use of public transportation by citizens.
