Logitech McLaren G Challenge 1, organized jointly by Logitech G, the leading brand of gaming technologies and equipment, and McLaren Racing, one of the successful teams of Formula 4 for many years, will take place for the 2021th time this year. Grand Final on January 15, 2022
For motorsport enthusiasts and amateur drivers, the Logitech G McLaren G Challenge 2021 racing season will begin on July 1, 2021 and will continue with a host of new additions. The tournament has been expanded to include three divisions so that more gamers can join the race; Open Wheel, Stock Car and Sport Car Racing. The G Challenge will be played in two games, iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione, and will culminate in the Grand Final on January 15, 2022 in Las Vegas, NV.
Professionals will take the wheel
To announce and celebrate this year's innovations, Logitech G and McLaren will host a Pro-Am race with the participation of famous names on July 7, where they will form two teams to compete in the Open Wheel and Stock Car race. William Byron and McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris will captain their respective teams and prepare them for the race. Participants include rapper, singer and songwriter A$AP Ferg; YouTube personality Jelle Van Vucht Arrow McLaren SP racing driver Felix Rosenqvist; American race car driver and pit reporter for NASCAR on NBC Parker Kligerman; and Indianapolis 500 Champion Tony Kanaan of Brazil.
The awards are stunning
The winners of this year's three divisions will receive a four-day, all-expenses-paid trip to London, where they will experience a behind-the-scenes experience with McLaren Racing for the grand finale. The rewards package includes a tour of the McLaren Technology Center, coaching by internationally renowned race car driver Lando Norris and a VIP experience at the F1 British Grand Prix 2022. The final will be full of exciting events, including a lively driving experience on the track with exotic race cars, official meetups with pro drivers, athletes and other celebrities, and a chance to win the McLaren Racing VIP Experience Grand Prize.
