With the financial support of the Republic of Turkey, carried out by the General Directorate of Highways and coordinated by the Development and Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Office of the Turkish Embassy in Nicosia, the southern line extending primarily from Ziyamet and Kaleburnu on the Karpaz Peninsula to Dipkarpaz. and Dipkarpaz-Monastery Road will be renewed.

With the protocol; The safety and quality of village roads will be increased. In two years, with 26 different projects, the roads between the villages will be renewed with maintenance and repair, and the rural areas will have a quality transportation infrastructure.

In addition, the construction of which was carried out by the General Directorate of Highways; however, the 59 km divided highway project, which started again after its construction was interrupted due to expropriation problems, will also be completed.
