İBB will bring together table tennis lovers with a special tournament. Amateur and licensed athletes will compete in the Istanbul Table Tennis Tournament on 25-26 June. The tournament, whose registration continues until June 23, will be open to everyone over the age of 16 who are not in the National Team and Turkish Table Tennis Federation (TMTF) Super League.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will organize a tournament specific to its branch in table tennis, which contributes to physical and mental development. Istanbul Table Tennis Tournament will be held in Maltepe Sports Facility with the cooperation of IMM Youth and Sports Directorate and SPORT ISTANBUL. The tournament, where applications are received through the website of SPOR ISTANBUL, will be held with a quota of 200 people. Registration for the event will continue until midnight on June 23.
THE TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO ALL AGES OVER 16
Everyone over the age of 16 can participate in the tournament, where the rules of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) will be valid, except for the athletes playing in the National Team and the TMTF Super League. The tournament, which is organized for licensed and amateur athletes, will be played over 3 sets won in groups and eliminations.
COMPETITIONS WILL BE HELD IN GROUPS OF 4
The Istanbul Table Tennis Tournament will be held on June 25 and 26 in the age category of 16-39 and over 40 for men and women. Players will take part in the tournament in groups of 4. All athletes will face each other in group matches. If enough participants are reached, the first and the second of each group will go to the next round. The third and fourth places will be eliminated from the tournament. In the matches to be held in the main table, those who have an advantage over their opponents will also go to the next round. Losers will say goodbye to the tournament.
SPECIAL GIFTS FOR THE RANKERS
At the end of the tournament, a gift certificate worth 1000 TL will be given to the winners, 400 TL will be given to the second place and 200 TL will be given to the third place. The top eight players will also be presented with ITTF-approved triple table tennis balls.

- Group matches for the over 40 category: 14.00 – 18.00
Saturday, June 26:
- 16-39 age group group matches: 10.00 – 14.00
- All age groups, qualifiers and finals: 14.00 – 18.00
