İBB will increase the number of nurseries in Istanbul to 11 with 31 new facilities to be opened. The places where kindergartens will be opened were determined on the Poverty Map prepared by the IMM. One each in Esenler, Çatalca, Büyükçekmece, Sancaktepe, and Gaziosmanpaşa; In Küçükçekmece, Kartal and Maltepe, two new kindergartens will be put into service for the public. The deadline for pre-application and registration renewal for kindergartens is 28 June.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) continues to expand nursery services throughout the city. With 11 new facilities to be opened, the number of kindergartens in Istanbul will increase to 31. Istanbul will be one step closer to its goal of 150 new kindergartens.

NURSERY FULLY EQUIPPED
The kindergartens offered by IMM to the people of Istanbul are fully equipped. The facilities designed as an activity center for children include classrooms, indoor activity and playgrounds, dining hall, kitchen, terraces, waiting rooms, administrative units and technical volumes. The trainings are given by an experienced staff.
TO PRIORITY NEEDS
Those in need are taken into account when determining the places where nurseries will be established. For this purpose, the Poverty Map made by IMM according to scientific criteria is taken as a basis. According to this map, the construction of kindergartens is given priority in the neighborhoods where the number of children is high and poverty is high.
DEADLINE FOR PRE-APPLICATION 28 JUNE
Pre-applications are made for kindergartens serving under the roof of our home in Istanbul, on the website Yuvamiz.ibb.istanbul. According to the evaluations to be made in the process following the preliminary applications, suitable candidates will be invited for registration. Parents will be able to enroll their children in the nearest nursery to work or home. The deadline for taking advantage of the 2021 kindergartens that will be newly opened for the 2022-31 period is June 28, 2021. On the same day, the last registration renewal date for students still continuing their education. Students who want to renew their registration will be able to complete their transactions from the same web address, just like those who want to make a preliminary application.
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ALL CHILDREN
Our Home Istanbul Project was launched in the new municipality period in order to ensure that children throughout the city have equal opportunities. In this context, the education of children in all areas, their basic needs, women's employment, and contributions to family education and development were considered.
The training programs were created on the basis of raising individuals who are self-confident, happy, sensitive to nature, respectful to human rights and freedoms, establishing positive relations with their environment, participating and asking questions.
NEIGHBORHOOD RELATIONS ARE STRENGTHENING
In addition to supporting parents in many ways, the project also enables women to easily participate in work and social life. At the same time, safe spaces are created where children can live by strengthening the relationship with teachers, families and neighborhoods.
