EGO Announces the Drivers of the Month Selected for March

The names determined for the month of March were announced in the "Driver of the Month" application, which was launched in 2021 by the EGO General Directorate. As a result of the elections held in 5 regions, one driver from each region; Adem Köşker from the 1st Region Bus Operation Branch Directorate, Murat Baysal from the 2nd Region, Hayrullah Karademir from the 3rd Region, Hakan Cihan from the 4th Region and Caner Demirel from the 5th Region were determined as the "Driver of the Month".

EGO Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak, Head of Bus Operations Department Yahya Şanlıer and Head of Service Improvement and Institutional Development Department Ayten Gök met with the "Drivers of the Month" selected for March at the 5th Regional Bus Operations Branch Directorate. In his speech here, Zafer Tekbudak congratulated the drivers who were deemed worthy of the award for the attention and care they show while performing their duties, and said, "I kiss you on the forehead for reflecting the service quality of our General Directorate to our citizens by offering them respectful and smiling faces."

Tekbudak stated that the demands of our citizens coming through the Başkent 153 system regarding the services offered by public transportation in Ankara transportation are meticulously evaluated by our relevant regional directorates and field teams; “Just as our heart hurts when our citizens complain about our drivers, the gratitude we receive on your behalf makes our chest swell”. said. Tekbudak shared some of the thank you messages from the citizens with the drivers of the month and said that his door is always open to them. After his speech, Zafer Tekbudak presented a "Certificate of Appreciation" to the Drivers of the Month.

Among the evaluation criteria for the Driver of the Month, there are nine titles: thank you messages for the positive behavior of the drivers towards the citizens, compliance with the traffic rules, compliance with their colleagues and superiors, work discipline, and attention to dress. Drivers selected as Driver of the Month are rewarded with a wage of ten days.
