The teams affiliated to Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction Maintenance and Repair Department are working nonstop for the 4th Ring Road, which has an important place in the road paving works that the city continues to meet. As part of the ongoing works on the road route, which will greatly ease the urban traffic, the teams continue their infrastructure, road and pavement works simultaneously.

Culvert fabrication work has been completed

The construction of the culvert, which has been under construction for a while, has been completed within the scope of the road arrangement and art structure works of the project. The teams completed the construction of 17 meters long 32×950, 37.82 meters long 8×5 and 128.12 meters long 5×3 box culverts on the 37-meter section of 3. Street between 3. Street and Nevit Kodallı Street. On the same route, the construction of a 240-meter-long earthen concrete wall was also completed.

Significant progress has been made in road and pavement works

Significant progress has been made in the road and pavement works in a total area of ​​32 meters, including the section between Governor Hüseyin Aksoy Street and İsmet İnönü Boulevard and the 1.550 meters of roadwork between 3nd Street and Nevit Kodallı Street.

While the teams quickly complete the asphalt works at the binder level on the 2-meter part of the road, they continue to work on the pavement construction. After the pavement works are completed, the wear layer asphalt will be laid without wasting time.

While the teams continue their infrastructure and displacement works in the part where the road is made, they are also planning the construction of a bicycle path on the road of 3 thousand 600 meters.
