Works Progress Rapidly on Ankara Etimesgut Station Street

The construction of an alternative boulevard that will put an end to the traffic ordeal of Etimesgut Station Street is progressing rapidly. Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who continues to bring the people of the Capital City together with comfortable and safe driving by making a transportation attack in the Capital, informed the people of the Capital on his social media accounts about the works carried out on the Etimesgut Station Street, which is among the priority transportation projects and consists of two stages.

SLOW DATE FOR 1ST STAGE

Addressing the citizens with the words “We are happy to fulfill one more promise”, Yavaş also shared the planned completion date of the 1st phase works:

“Our work continues at full speed to solve the problem that concerns our 1,5 million citizens, especially in Etimesgut and Sincan. We are working day and night to finish the first phase works on August 30.”

The project, which will end the traffic problem of the citizens living in the region, especially in the Etimesgut and Sincan districts, has achieved 95 percent progress in the work on the underpass of the High Speed ​​​​Train (YHT) Eryaman Station, while the works of precast and guardrail manufacturing and asphalt construction continue.

While the U-turn bridge, where the works continue, is 50 percent complete, it is planned to open to traffic on August 30, 2021 by completing the works on the U-turn bridge and YHT Eryaman Station underpass.

7/24 WORKING ON ALTERNATIVE BULVARD TO İSTASYON AVENUE

While 35 percent progress has been made in the connection bridge to be built on the Turkish Red Crescent Street, 1682 percent of the works on the connection bridge located at 20. Street have been completed.

While the teams of the Department of Science Affairs, which continue their work 7/24 in the construction of an alternative boulevard to Istasyon Street, complete their work on the railway overpass bridge at a rate of 15 percent, they continue to manufacture bored piles.

The boulevard, which was built as an alternative to Istasyon Street, which is the most important artery of the region that carries Elvankent, Sincan and Etimesgut regions to the city center, consists of 5 railway overpass bridges and 4 underpass with a length of 1 kilometers. The boulevard, which was built as one-way and 3 lanes within the scope of the protocol made after the approval from the General Directorate of TCDD, passes through the north of the railway.

THE ENTIRE PROJECT WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE REPUBLIC DAY OF OCTOBER 29

It is aimed that the whole project, which is carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality Department of Science Affairs and will prevent the chronic traffic jam, will be completed and put into service by October 29, Republic Day.
