The Sixth Branch of Başkent Market was opened in Batıkent

The sixth branch of Başkent Market, implemented by Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş as part of the rural development project, was opened in Batıkent. With the Başkent Market model, 42 million TL has been paid to women's cooperatives and local unions so far. The sixth branch of Başkent Market, where 62 kinds of healthy products produced by Halk Bread Factory itself and 9 products, 14 of which belong to women's cooperatives, 3 cooperatives and 766 unions, are sold at fresh and affordable prices, was opened in Batıkent. Başkent Market, where mostly local products are sold at affordable prices, does not affect the work of local tradesmen with this feature.

The opening was attended by Volkan Gönenç, Chairman of the Board of Halk Bread Factory, and Dr. Batıkent Başkent Market, built by Hüseyin Velioğlu, will serve the residents of Ankara at Başkent Bulvarı Kentkoop Mahallesi No:26/1.

We started a movement in the countryside, directly from the producer to the consumer. The number of cooperatives, which was 3-4 when we took office, reached 17. 871 people are employed locally in cooperatives and unions in Kahramankazan, Çubuk, Haymana, Kızılcahamam, Şereflikoçhisar and produce products for Başkent Markets. We paid 13 million TL to the local producer in 42 months. We had 766 items in Başkent Markets. 6 Başkent Markets, 5 factory outlets, 2 Başkent Buffets, 417 Public Bread Buffets aim to serve our citizens with high quality, first class products to more Ankara residents. Our goal is to provide quality service to 6 million Ankara residents, to develop rural areas, and to provide local employment.”

5 PERCENT DISCOUNT FOR FAMILIES GETTING SOCIAL ASSISTANCE
