Citizens who are overwhelmed by the extreme heat in Denizli center, after a 6-minute journey by cable car, first go to the upper station and then to Bağbaşı Plateau, which integrates with its rare nature. Citizens who spend their time on the plateau at an altitude of 1400 meters can also find accommodation in bungalow houses prepared for them. Citizens who enjoy the cool highland air have the opportunity to enjoy local flavors with their loved ones. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Osman Zolan said that Denizli Cable Car and Bağbaşı Plateau have been visited by millions of people, both in the city, outside the city and abroad, since the first day it was put into service, and that the natural beauty of the facility is legendary. Noting that the facility, which has become the choice of those who find it hot in the summer and those who want to see snow in the winter, brings a new excitement to the city in terms of alternative tourism, Mayor Zolan said: “Our Denizli has now become one of the centers of highland tourism. We have become a center preferred by our people with its coolness, clean air and natural beauties. We are very ambitious in this regard. I invite all our citizens to see our facility and to get clean and cool highland air on extremely hot summer days.”
