Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continues its inspections for pirate transportation for safe transportation. In the inspections carried out by the Police Traffic Branch Directorate with the Izmir Provincial Police Department and Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams, five vehicles without working certificates were banned from traffic, and a total of 22 thousand 218 lira fines were imposed on the drivers who were found not to comply with the rules.

The teams of the Police Traffic Branch Directorate affiliated to the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Police Department, the traffic teams of the Izmir Provincial Police Department and the Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted inspections in many parts of the city to prevent piracy and to ensure safe transportation. Çiğli, where personnel transportation is intense in the city, Karşıyaka, Menemen, Buca, Menderes and Torbalı, as well as commercial vehicles such as taxis and minibuses, were meticulously inspected by the teams. An official from the Izmir Chamber of Drivers and Automobile Craftsmen also participated in the work.

The teams checked whether the passenger numbers, driver's licenses, route permits, work permits, driver identification card, seat belt and Covid-19 criteria were complied with. 5 vehicles that did not have a working certificate during the inspections were banned from traffic. A total of 22 thousand 218 liras was fined for vehicles that did not comply with the rules and were found to have missing documents.
