The construction of the “District Public Transportation Transfer Center” has started, which will enable the citizens living in the districts to come to Samsun with a single vehicle.
The contractor company, which won the tender for the District Public Transportation Transfer Center, which will collect the district minibuses in a single center, started the work machines. The project, which will eliminate the obligation of citizens to change more than one vehicle in order to reach the city on daily trips, will also bring order to urban transportation.
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “Especially our citizens living in rural areas have to change more than one vehicle if they want to come to the city center for a day. In general, they have great difficulties because they do not have special vehicles.
