As part of the fight against Covid-19, on-site vaccination was started for citizens at Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal (AŞTİ).

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, in his social media account, announced that the vaccination of citizens will begin at train and bus stations. The application first started in AŞTİ. Citizens will be able to vaccinate at established mobile vaccination centers.

Ankara Provincial Health Directorate, Head of Public Health Services, Dr. Instructor Member Mustafa Sırrı Kotanoğlu, in his statement at AŞTİ, stated that vaccination has started for both arriving and departing passengers in AŞTİ, and said, “The numbers we received in 2 days are very good. It was a good example in terms of on-site service for both incoming and outgoing passengers in Ankara and those working in these venues. We have made more than 4 million vaccines in Ankara," he said.

Stating that vaccination continues at more than 10 shopping centers, High Speed ​​​​Train (YHT) stations and airports, Kotanoğlu said, “Our aim is to increase the availability of the vaccine. In this way, we aim to increase our population who are vaccinated and to end this pandemic somehow with this vaccine.”

A citizen who came to get vaccinated at the mobile vaccination center established, stated that everyone can be vaccinated with peace of mind and said, "Good luck to our country and our nation. There's no need to be so afraid. I had already decided to get vaccinated. I didn't have time because I was working. Coming here was a good match for the vaccine. We got our vaccine and we survived," he said.
