IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlumade investigations in Arnavutköy, on the Karaburun coast, where the excavation of the Concrete Channel is planned to be poured. Examining the coastal planning works of IMM between Karaburun and Yeniköy on site, İmamoğlu gave the good news that they will make the region a lively area.
In his evaluation speech on the sands, İmamoğlu said, “May Allah protect this city from the minds of the people who defended this Concrete Canal, with made-up words, with fabricated justifications, -hundreds of pages- for which I did not receive a single page of scientific explanation. May Allah grant us the grace to leave this beauty to the next generation for centuries. Of course, we are not satisfied with just prayer. In the name of preserving this beauty, in order to make people love these places, in order to announce to the Deaf Sultan that these places belong to our citizens, we will give our endless struggle to let everyone know. By increasing these services, we will show everyone that this city belongs to the people of Istanbul.”
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) President Ekrem İmamoğluAfter his investigations in Çatalca, he moved to Arnavutköy district. İmamoğlu first visited the "Durusu Terkos Water Museum" in the Terkos District, the construction work of which has come to an end. Examining the coastal and beach arrangement works between Yeniköy and Karaburun on site, İmamoğlu was informed by İBB Deputy Secretary General Murat Yazıcı and Head of Support Services Department Mansur Güneş. Güneş told İmamoğlu, “There are 84 public beaches in Istanbul. Among them, as IMM, we were providing services at only 3 points in 5 districts. This year, we are increasing this to 10 plus points in Şile, Arnavutköy, Çatalca and Sarıyer”. Yeniköy Neighborhood Headman Timur Çevik and Karaburun Neighborhood Headman Mustafa Karaali conveyed their satisfaction with the work done, their problems and demands to İmamoğlu. İmamoğlu addressed the headmen who said, "This is the first time such services are being held on this beach," and "Blessed be God, please protect this beauty."
