A passenger train cut down the vehicle when a fast-moving jeep in Russia ignored the red light and dived into the level crossing. The driver of the vehicle and the passenger next to him died in the accident.

In Anapa, one of the holiday towns of Russia's Krasnodar Region, a speeding jeep was cut down by a passenger train while trying to cross the level crossing, ignoring the red light last Sunday.

The train, which started to drag the vehicle in front of it, was able to stop after several meters due to its high speed. The driver of the vehicle and the passenger next to him died in the accident.

In the statement made by the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, it was stated that many rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, and it was stated that the lifeless bodies of the 50-year-old driver and 49-year-old passenger, who were trapped in the vehicle, were removed with difficulty.

The Ministry announced that an investigation has been opened regarding the accident and announced that after the rescue efforts, the disrupted train services returned to their normal course.
