The enthusiasm of World Skateboarding Day, which is celebrated every year on 21 June, the longest day of the year, was shared at Beşiktaş Skateboarding Area with the “SPX Skate Fest” organized with the support of İBB and Spor İstanbul.
The dynamism of skateboarding meets the Bosphorus
Bringing the dynamism of skateboarding together with music, entertainment, dance and the Bosphorus, SPX Skate Fest also witnessed colorful scenes. While the audience of the festival followed the skateboard shows throughout the day, the athletes who were successful in the competition also won important gifts.
In the organization realized by SPX, which makes a difference with its rich skateboard collection in addition to outdoor, extreme sports, tennis and running materials, successful competitors receive skateboard gifts as well as t-shirts from Quiksilver, glasses from Oakley, watches from Casio G Shock and a gift of 5.000 TL in total. they won the check.
Hundreds of skateboarding enthusiasts were a part of the event, and the moments when the SPX Skateboarding Team performed were breathtaking. Red Bull added color to SPX Skate Fest, where a workshop was also held for people who are new to skateboarding, with “Mind the Gap” skateboarding shows and its DJ.
SPX will continue to organize organizations such as SPX Skate Fest in the coming period in order to further expand the skateboard family in our country.
