Eskişehir Industry Fair, which reveals Turkey's domestic and national power in aviation, defense and machinery industry, was held at Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce – Tüyap Fair Center between 9-12 June 2021. 22 brands, 103 companies and their representatives from 205 countries participated in the fair, which lasted for four days. The fair was visited by 20 thousand 256 physically and 3 thousand 387 visitors online. A total of 203 B836B meetings, 2 of which were online, were held between these visitors and the participants.

Tuyap Fair Organization Production Co. Inc. The fair was organized with the support and cooperation of the TR Presidency of Defense Industry Presidency, Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone Directorate, Eskişehir Technical University, Eskişehir Osmangazi University and KOSGEB, with the contributions of the TR Eskişehir Governorship and Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce – Tuyap Fair Center in a total area of 12 thousand square meters in the two halls of the fair; Innovative products of companies operating in the aerospace, defense and manufacturing industries, produced with the latest technology, were exhibited.
The most innovative products of 22 brands, 103 companies and representatives from 205 countries were showcased at the fair, where industry-leading companies from industrial cities such as Ankara, Bursa, Istanbul, Konya, Izmir, Sakarya and Kocaeli, especially Eskişehir, participated.
“Satisfaction rate is 96,8 percent”
Making evaluations about the fair, Tüyap Anadolu Fairs A.Ş. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü said that they showed the power of Eskişehir in national and domestic production in this fair they organized for the first time. Ersözlü, who stated that they were satisfied with the interest of exhibitors and visitors, said:
Important companies operating in the aerospace and defense industries, especially the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey, Presidency of Defense Industries, 1st Air Maintenance Factory Directorate, STM Defense Technologies, ASELSAN, TAİ, TEİ, ROKETSAN, HAVELSAN, ASPİLSAN and İŞBİR Electric attended our fair. An important cooperation ground was created between the companies that participated and visited our fair, especially these companies, which are the pride of the defense and aerospace industry. During our fair, 633 B2B business meetings were held. In the survey we conducted, 96,8% of our participants expressed their satisfaction.”
Hybrid fair opportunities presented
In the online leg of Eskişehir Industry Fair, Tüyap offered hybrid fair opportunities with state-of-the-art technology to the exhibitors and visitors as a requirement of its new generation fair organization understanding. Visitors, who could also see the products exhibited by the exhibitors online at the fair, held online B2B bilateral business meetings with the participating companies using the Business Connect platform, one of the products of MyTüyap, the digital universe of Tüyap. During the four-day fair, 3 visitors registered with Business Connect contacted 387 exhibitors, and a total of 109 online meetings were held. Turkey, Algeria, Brazil, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Ghana, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Senegal, Palestine, Serbia, Uganda, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and England While 203 visitors from Turkey visited the fair online, they also had the opportunity to examine 129 innovative products exhibited by the exhibitors on Business Connect. Thanks to Business Connect, which is not limited to fair dates, exhibitors and visitors will continue to establish business connections until June 849.
Project support to students from SSB
In Eskişehir Industry Fair, which is one of the fairs supported by the Presidency of Defense Industry of the Republic of Turkey, “project support” was given by the Presidency to the projects made by university students.
Eskişehir's first R&D, Industry and Technology Fair also witnessed important events on subjects that will mark the future of Turkish industry and defense. At the conferences organized by prominent professors of Eskişehir Technical University and Eskişehir Osmangazi University, many technologies of the future, from UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) to hydrogen, which is considered to be the fuel of the future, were discussed.
