Eskişehir Industry Fair, which brings together Turkey's national power in the field of aviation, defense, machinery and industry, and Bilateral Business meetings to be held simultaneously with the fair started with the hosting of ETO-Tuyap Fair Center. The opening ceremony of the fair and bilateral business meetings was attended by the President of the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede, Eskişehir Governor Erol Ayyıldız, AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Emine Nur Günay, Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler, Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone President Nadir Küpeli, Tüyap Anadolu Fairs A.Ş. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü and representatives of OIZs, chambers and technoparks from the city and outside the city attended the protocol.
The fair will contribute to both the sector and the industrialists.
Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, President of Presidency of Defense Industry İsmail Demir made the opening of Eskişehir Industry Fair. Speaking at the opening, Demir stated that the roots of Eskişehir's industry go back a long way, and that Eskişehir is also the education center of the industry, with the State Railways and Aviation Vocational Schools. Stating that the reason for participating in the fair with the Presidency of Defense Industry and its companies is Eskişehir's defense and aerospace industry, Demir emphasized that Eskişehir Industry Fair will contribute to both the city and the industry sector.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdede stated that Eskişehir has a very special place for the Ministry of Industry and Technology, and noted that Eskişehir Industry Fair will be welcomed with interest because both the rail systems and the defense and aviation industry are at an important level in Eskişehir. Tuyap Anatolian Fairs Inc. General Manager İlhan Ersözlü stated that they will demonstrate the power of Eskişehir in national and domestic production at this fair, which they organized for the first time. Stating that Eskişehir, which adopts the export-based industrialization model, is the center of the companies operating in the aviation and defense industry, Ersözlü noted that the main sectors of the fair were determined as the companies producing products and services for the defense industry and the manufacturing industry.
Support request from the Presidency of Defense Industries for 2022
Speaking at the ceremony, Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler stated that the industry is in Eskişehir's chemistry and that Eskişehir Industry Fair will highlight Eskişehir's advanced technology production power and experience. Referring to the bilateral business meetings to be held within the scope of the fair, Güler stated that the bilateral business meetings will form the basis for very important collaborations for the industrialists of Eskişehir. Drawing attention to the importance of the participation and support of the Presidency of Defense Industry and its companies in Eskişehir Industry Fair, Güler noted that they expect the support of the Presidency of Defense Industry for the fair to be held in 2022. Güler also thanked President of the Presidency of Defense Industry Prof. Dr. Güler for his cooperation and support in the fair and bilateral meetings. Dr. He thanked İsmail Demir and Eskişehir OIZ President Nadir Küpeli.
The fair will introduce Eskişehir industry to wider audiences
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, Nadir Küpeli, stated that Eskişehir is an industrial city and for this reason, Eskişehir Industry Fair is of great importance for the industrialists of Eskişehir. Stating that the importance of the existence of developed industry for the city's economy during the pandemic period was further understood, Eskişehir OSB President Küpeli noted that the city's industry will be introduced to wider masses thanks to the Eskişehir Industry Fair. Indicating that the fair is an R&D, Defense Industry and Technology Fair, so to speak, Küpeli noted that the participants of the fair will have the opportunity to see both the strong companies of Turkey's defense industry and the level of technology these companies have reached, as well as the industrial competence and capabilities of Eskişehir industry. After the opening speeches, ETO President visited the companies that opened stands at the fair with the protocol.
