Stating that the most successful method used in the treatment of this process is eye drops, Bavbek said, “Individuals with eye allergies should use drops an average of 4 times a day from the moment their discomfort begins to increase. In very severe cases, our clients may also need to use cortisone. But individuals should not use this drug on their own, as it has so many side effects. It is necessary to proceed with close monitoring and control of the eye doctor. The important point here is that these types of drugs only eliminate the symptoms. Since it is a chronic disease, eye allergy can become severe again in certain periods," he said.

What should be considered in eye allergy?
