Minister Karaismailoğlu, in his statement before meeting with Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic and his delegation, stated that the great transport move made in Turkey for 19 years continues to increase. Karaismailoğlu stated that they have started to complete projects that require great engineering, in which the latest technology is used, and that they are working with Turkish engineers and contractors while doing these.

Support for new projects will continue in line with Serbia's new needs and demand.

Drawing attention to the development of the world's most competent engineering, project and contracting companies in Turkey thanks to the transportation move for 19 years, Karaismailoğlu said, “We, of course, share our knowledge, experience and talents that we have gained in these 19 years with a friendly and brotherly country. Turkey is one of the countries that invest the most in Serbia

Taking the floor after Minister Karaismailoğlu, Minister Momirovic stated that they will talk about important issues for both countries and noted that the relations between the two countries have been at the best level in the last 140 years. Recalling that President Erdogan signed the Belgrade-Sarajevo Highway Project in 2017, Momirovic said that they took the decision to build the road in question at that time. Noting that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and joint work strengthen the relationship between Turkey and Serbia, Momirovic emphasized that joint projects have a positive impact both in the two countries and in the whole region, especially in the Kovid-19 process.
