Ankaralı has the right to speak for the color and design of the new buses

A new one has been added to the participatory and transparent municipality practices of Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, which set an example for the whole of Turkey. Mayor Yavaş announced that the seat and exterior cladding designs and colors of 2013 new buses to be purchased for the first time after 301 will be determined by a survey to be organized by Başkent residents. Ankara residents will be able to vote on the colors and designs of the new buses by using the 'Speak Right' button on their smart phones, until June 6, with the survey conducted through the Başkent Mobile application.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality enables the people of Ankara to have a say in the city administration with its participatory municipality approach, which sets an example for all of Turkey.

Supporting the understanding of participatory democracy and the principle of common sense with the technological developments called “BLD 4.0”, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that they now want the people of the Capital to determine the colors and designs of the buses to be purchased. Yavaş, who attended the contract signing ceremony for 2013 new buses purchased for the first time in Ankara after 301, said, “We will determine the final version of the outer cladding designs together with our fellow citizens. The designs will be opened to the survey and as Ankara residents, we will decide on the colors and designs of our buses together.”

SURVEY VIA BAŞKENT MOBILE

In the first place, EGO General Directorate gathered the ideas and designs of the people of the Capital on the colors and designs of the new buses until 28 May.

After the evaluation of the designs coming from the capital city residents, the Metropolitan Municipality Information Processing Department conducted a survey asking the citizens in which color and design they would like the new buses to be, via the Başkent Mobile application.

THERE ARE DIFFERENT DESIGNS FOR ARTICULATED AND SOLO BUS

Citizens who want to participate in the survey will be able to vote for the designs they like by clicking the 'Right to Speak' button in the Başkent Mobile application and filling out their profile information only once, until 6 on Sunday, June 20.00th.

As a result of the voting, the colors and designs that received the most votes will be shared with the public after 6 June. The buses in the colors and designs to be chosen by the citizens of the capital will begin to serve after they are received in stages.

With the application called "BLD 4.0", the Metropolitan Municipality will soon start surveys on regional issues for those living in that region.
