The use of ANKARAKART, known as an electronic fare collection system, is becoming more and more common in Başkent. After EGO Buses and Private Public Buses, Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTA) serving in the surrounding districts of Ankara continue to be integrated into the system. As of Monday, June 7, 2021, ANKARAKART will be used in 7 ÖTAs serving in Ayaş district.

Efforts are underway to make ANKARAKART, which provides ease of access with a single card in the capital, widespread in the surrounding districts after the center.

While the studies initiated by the EGO General Directorate to expand the use of validators continue, Private Public Transport Vehicles (ÖTA), which provides transportation services in the surrounding districts, continue to be integrated into this system. After EGO Buses and Private Public Buses, the use of ANKARAKART, which is becoming more and more widespread in ÖTAs, will also start in Ayaş district as of Monday, June 7, 2021.

ANKARAKART WILL BE VALID IN 7 ÖTA SERVICES IN AYAŞ DISTRICT

Apart from EGO Buses, Private Public Buses (ÖHO) started to be integrated into the ANKARAKART system in Ankara, where Private Public Buses (ÖHO) switched to the validator system as of September 2019.

EGO General Directorate, which aims to collect fees through a single system, announced that ANKARAKART will also be valid for ÖTAs serving in Ayaş, as of Monday, June 7, 2021.

ANKARAKART started to be used in 11 ETAs serving the electronic toll collection system in Çubuk and Akyurt districts as of 96 November, and in 21 ÖTAs in Elmadağ and Kahramankazan as of 49 December, and now it is affiliated with Ayaş Cooperative serving on the 560-3 line. 7 ÖTA will switch to electronic fare collection system.

While the validator system is installed on ÖTAs serving in Ayaş, citizens will be able to use ANKARAKART in the district from now on, with a single card. EGO General Directorate plans to include ELVs serving in all surrounding districts in Ankara in the electronic fee system and strengthen the inspection mechanism in the future.
