The 7th Tahtalı Run to Sky Powered by Corendon Airlines races have come to an end. 14 athletes from 400 countries participated in the Tahtalı Run To Sky Powered By Corendon Airlines races, which was held under the main sponsorship of Corendon Airlines with the great support of Kemer Municipality.

In the Tahtalı Run To Sky Powered By Corendon Airlines race, which was run around the 2 meters high Tahtalı Mountain, the summer temple of Zeus, and which gave the athletes the opportunity to run in the footsteps of Zeus to reach the sky, the athletes made a great effort to be ranked.

After the completion of the races, an award ceremony was held in Atatürk Park, which was reorganized and brought to Kemer by Kemer Municipality.

Antalya Deputy Governor Nurettin Ateş Kemer Governor Yücel Gemici, Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, Kemer Police Chief Deniz Yılmaz, deputy mayor Emin Gül, council member Ferhan Fidan, Antalya Youth and Sports Provincial Director Yavuz Gürhan, Kemer District Youth and Sports Director. Mustafa Özkaynak, Kemer Touristic Hoteliers and Operators Association (KETOB) President Dinçer Sarıkaya, KETOB Vice President Şinasi Gürocak, Kemer Businessmen's Association (KEMİAD) President Rıza Sönmez, Olympos Cable Car General Manager Haydar Gümrükçü, Corendon Chairman Yıldıray Karaer, organization director Polat Dede, tourism professionals and sportsmen attended.

Making a statement after the award ceremony, Kemer Municipality Mayor Necati Topaloğlu said that they, as Kemer Municipality, gave great support to the organization, which was held for the 7th time this year.

Noting that it was a very good organization despite the pandemic, President Topaloğlu said, “Despite the pandemic that affected the world, 14 athletes from 400 countries participated in the event. We will do better next year and ensure that it takes more place in the international arenas. There is another event in November. Let it be a surprise. We will continue to introduce Kemer. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the organization.” he said.

KETOB President Sarıkaya said that they will work to make the organization more successful in the coming years and to promote Kemer in the best way possible.

Mentioning that there are some suggestions from the competitors, Sarıkaya noted that they will evaluate the suggestions and try to bring the Lycian Walking Path to the organization tracks.

Organization Director Polat Dede also stated that it was a good race and thanked Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu and the sponsors for their great support.

Prizes were given to the winners of the race held in four different categories.
