The beneficiaries are required to submit their grant payment requests for the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Professionals assigned in April 2021 through the portal. The deadline for submitting requests is May 31, 2021. For questions regarding applications, misgep@misgep.org address was opened.

After the submission of the applications, the first support payments will be made in June. A minimum of 300 and a maximum of 3750 Euros will be given to underground mining workplaces every month. In return for the assignment of OHS professionals by the enterprises, a support of 15 Euros per employee will be provided per month.

Financial and Guidance Support is given to Underground Mines in the Field of Occupational Health and Safety

The Financial Support and Guidance Program was implemented in February 2021 within the scope of the "Project for Improving Occupational Health and Safety Especially in the Mining Sector (MİSGEP)" financed jointly by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey. The aim of the Financial Support and Guidance Program with a budget of 7.6 million Euros is to provide financial and guidance support to underground mines in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.

In the program, which gained momentum by signing contracts with workplaces at the beginning of April, a new step was taken in May and the number of businesses that would benefit from the support was increased.

In addition, in April, the first site visits that will last between April and May were initiated in order to guide underground mining enterprises in the field of occupational health and safety and to increase the institutional capacity in this field. With these visits to be made by the project team, it was aimed to prepare the Inception Report, where the first photo of the situation will be taken before the support, and to reveal the needs of our underground mines with OHS performance Measurement Reports.
