Karaismailoğlu, informing that the number of flights including transit overpasses in Turkish airspace during the 4 months of this year is 185 on domestic lines and 156 on international lines, Karaismailoğlu said, “In the 84-month period of this year, a total of 201 aircraft traffic was realized with overpasses in Turkey. . In other words, there was a plane crossing from Turkish airspace every 4 seconds. While the number of passengers at airports has decreased significantly all over the world due to the epidemic, thanks to the measures we have taken, our passengers continue their travels in aviation safety and flight safety. Stating that the outstanding achievements of Turkish civil aviation in the epidemic process are reflected in the reports of the world aviation authorities, Karaismailoğlu said:

“Our Istanbul Airport, which is one of the biggest investments in the history of the Republic, succeeded to be the first in Europe in passenger, aircraft and freight traffic, leaving behind many world giants. Our Istanbul Airport continues these achievements by breaking grounds. All of our other airports have also passed very good tests on epidemic measures. In addition, our country maintains these successes, while leaving Europe's leading air traffic control centers behind, taking first places in air traffic management. "
